Rising K - rising 5 : $110 per session; Rising  6- rising 8 may attend as "Junior Counselors" -- they will act as  "mentors" for younger campers  and will assist the camp director and counselors, while participating in activities.  This is a great way to transition from camper to counselor, plus have fun for the reduced rate of $60 per session.

Camps are filled with fun and enriching activities for summer days.  The program blends science, technology, engineering, art and math activities, games and playground play.  Participants will be grouped into lower elementary and upper elementary groups with dedicated counselors.  At least one activity in each of the following categories is offered every week to compliment the theme:
                                • Building with simple tools  • Cooking  • Technology • Art • Physical Activities • Outdoor Play • Themed Read Aloud • Makerspace Lab

  •  June 4 – 8 - As Seen On TV: Put some reality into TV favorites.  Join us as we ‘go live’ in our own version of American Ninja Warrior, Shark Tank, Myth Busters, Swamp People, Modern Marvels, Master Chef, and a slew of game shows.
  •   June 11 – 15 - Around the World: We will pique campers’ sense of exploration as they virtually travel the earth and its modern and ancient cultures through technology, cooking, art, folk stories, cultural games and a photo passport of their journey.  Campers will learn a bit of Chinese, make and taste delicacies from around the globe, create woodblock prints, design their unique Matryoshka, and find tranquility with their own miniature zen garden.
  •  June 25 – 29 - The Great Outdoors: This one is a summer staple at Bachman!  This year we have our very own garden plot to tend, accompanied by a host of other activities!  Build an artistic garden post, assemble a bird house, make homemade applesauce, engineer a homemade sprinkler, plant succulent seeds, and back by popular demand – construct a wormery to observe the life of earthworms!
  •  July 9 – 12 – Take Flight: Please note this camp is Monday through Thursday only!  $90 for Campers, $50 for Junior Counselors. You’ll want to keep an eye on the sky at this camp as gliders, rockets, and mini hot air balloons fill the sky.  Campers will explore the history of flight through artistic projects of birds, learn about Chinese kite traditions, and discover famous aviators and inventors like the Wright Brothers, Bessie Coleman, and Steve Fossett through activities and experiments.
  •  July 16 – 20 - Tilt-A-Whirl: Amusement themed activities fill the day; design a one of a kind marble run coaster, spin cotton candy, make funnel cakes, learn to draw caricatures, and assemble and play midway games like ski ball and hole in one!
